Facebook is one of the social media websites that is always changing. More and more features have been added over the years for example the introduction of the Timeline, the like button, the messenger application, networks and groups, events and many more. Its hard to imagine what more will be in store for the user in a few years down the line. After researching online I gathered information on what could be the future of Facebook. For one prediction, more apps. Apps like Messenger have been very helpful with online chatting on Facebook and you can expect to see more successful apps in the future. Another prediction is the use of shopping on Facebook. Facebook is a huge market for advertising and it will be interesting to find out if they make a market of their own sometime soon. Speech recognition technology could also become a thing in the future. Instead of writing a post it might become possible to say it in with your own voice. These are just some of the assumptions that I have gathered.
